Hull City welcome selection boost ahead of Cardiff City clash

Hull City will welcome back a key player ahead of their clash with Cardiff City on Saturday. The Tigers travel to South Wales for a game they simply must win if they want to remain in the playoff picture having lost last time out.

Liam Rosenior’s men are six points off the top six with a game in hand, and with games running out, they cannot afford to allow that figure to grow. Cardiff will fancy themselves at home, especially after rocking Coventry City’s playoff bid with an away win last time out.

But it is true that Erol Bulut’s men realistically have little to play for at this stage of the season. Hull certainty do, and they will be hoping that gives them an advantage at the Cardiff City Stadium. The Humberside outfit will also welcome back key defender Jacob Greaves after suspension.

The centre-back missed both Easter games through suspension but will be available for the trip to Cardiff. It remains unclear whether Ryan Gils or Lewie Coyle will return from injury.
