Cardiff City release new home kit for 125th anniversary season
Cardiff City have released their new kit ahead of next season, and it’s one fans are likely to love. The Bluebirds have used one of their retro badges to commemorate the club’s 125th anniversary, specifically the badge used between 1969 and 1980.
The kit uses two tones of traditional blue with a white-trim collar and white cuffs around the bottom of the sleeves. The shirt also has ‘125’ at the very bottom corner of the front of the shirt to mark the club’s anniversary. The shorts and socks have not been shown just yet. The kit is manufactured by New Balance, as City kits have been over recent years since the switch from Adidas.
The club have also confirmed when the new shirt will be available to fans, saying:
Our 2024/25 home kit and trainingwear will be available to purchase in-store and online from 9am on Saturday, June 29th.
The Cardiff City Superstore will also be open on Sunday, 30th June between 10am and 4pm for Bluebirds to get their hands on our new strip.
