Who are Cardiff City playing in pre-season? First details confirmed

Cardiff City players and fans now have an outline of what this summer’s pre-season will look like. Erol Bulut will want to lead his men to another step forward this season having secured a top half finish last term.

Summer recruitment and hard work on the grass will be central to those hopes, while the pre-season activities are also important to get fans exciting for the season ahead, with supporters able to get a first glimpse of new signings.

With that in mind, the Bluebirds have now confirmed the early details for their pre-season, and we run you through what you need to know below.

Cardiff City’s pre-season tour

All we know about Cardiff’s pre-season tour so far is that it will take place in Austria and that it will be between July 19 and July 26.

The club say fixtures and other details for the trip will be confirmed in due course.

Cardiff City vs. Kidderminster Harriers. Cardiff International Sports Campus, Wednesday 10th July, 7:30pm.

Cardiff City vs. K.V. Kortrijk. Cardiff International Sports Campus, Saturday 13th July, 12pm.

Cardiff City vs. Penybont FC. Cardiff International Sports Campus, Tuesday 16th July, 7:30pm.

Cardiff City vs. Reading FC. Cardiff City Stadium, Wednesday 31st July, 7:30pm.

Ticket details and prices will be confirmed on the club website in due course. Broadcast details are also yet to be announced, but it is likely a number of fixtures will be available to watch through Cardiff City TV.
