Rangers make ‘improved offer’ for Cardiff City and Swansea City target
Rangers are said to be determined to beat Cardiff City and others to the signing of Aberdeen youngster Connor Barron this summer. The midfielder has been linked with a whole host of clubs ahead of his deal coming to an end at the end of June.
Despite his contract situation, Barron will cost £500,000 this summer due to the training compensation due to Aberdeen, but even that looks to be a bargain fee. That’s because the 21-year-old has already racked up 59 league appearances in the Scottish top tier, while he is also a Scotland under-21 international.

But according to the Daily Record, Rangers have now made a second and improved offer to the midfielder in the hope of beating the interested Championship clubs. That could be bad news for the Bluebirds unless they are willing to go toe-to-toe with the Gers.
